The Los Angeles Amateur Radio Club holds a 2 mtr. FM Simplex net every Sat nite at 8 PM Pacific time. (0400 GMT). The frequency is 144.430 mHz simplex. The NCS is KD6OLH DM03tv near LAX in the city of Hawthorne Ca. Ant is a discone at 37 ft.

Some Ops from the WSS are still continuing to hold some nets. These nets are not on all the time. The times are 8 pm pacific except one at 7 PM. All modes are Upper Sideband except one that is AM. Info follows. Most NCS's are in the Los Angeles and San Diego and surounding area, and can be contacted most any time on those freqs.
